Rev. Jim Whittington and World Deliverance International(WDI)were instrumental in delivering 442,584 servings of chicken to the people of Jamaica. WDI also contributed a 40 ft container, which holds 53,760 cans of chicken, to Food For The Poor. It’s a team effort, 1 can chase 1,000 but 2 can put 10,000 to flight.

“Thank you Rev. Jim Whittington & World Deliverance International, you put a smile on my face when you sent the food!”

“Where we live may not be a palace but we’re eating like a king since World Deliverance International brought us the food.”

“Thanks for the food, take the picture, we’re ready to eat! haha”

Their Christmas was made happier because they had food in the house!

We can feed 50 children at a time and we did!!!!!!

“Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!”

A small portion of the cans that were donated.

I want to update you on some of the latest World Deliverance Crusade projects. Currently, we are working to fill our first container of food to be sent to the Jamaica. Many of you may remember that last year we donated to Love-A-Child — a Christian humanitarian organization – a truck that was used to deliver more than 15 million meals to starving families. We hope to launch the same effort in Jamaica!
At the World Food Day opening ceremony at the United Nations, or UN, we became more aware of the desperate needs around the world. We would like to help the UN fulfill its mission and global agenda to help eradicate hunger, illiteracy, and health problems worldwide and particularly in Jamaica, where we have already established partnerships with many leaders, churches and humanitarian organizations. According to the UN, more than one in six Jamaicans — overwhelmingly rural dwellers and women – live in poverty.Take a look at some of the things we’re doing in Jamaica!
Special Report From The Desk of Rev. Jim Whittington:
Lately I have been seeing billboards here in the United States, and even in some foreign countries, stating that May 21, 2011 will be Judgement Day. They say there will not be a 2012 and that this is guaranteed by the Bible. To put the icing on the cake, I received a letter today, from another source, stating that the world will end in the month of April 2011
This person claims to be a prophet of God and went on to say this was revealed to them in the clouds last year. This is not the first time that a person or a group of people, have proclaimed that the world would end or Jesus would come on a certain day or at a particular time. So far, they have all been wrong. Their prophecies and predictions have failed and will continue to fail.
When Jesus was asked in Matthew 24:3-5 by his disciples on the Mount of Olives, “When shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world?” Jesus answered and said unto them, “take heed that no man deceive you for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; And Shall deceive many.”
And finally he said unto them in the 36th verse of the same chapter, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” He is coming but no one knows when. Jesus said in John 14:3 “…I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also.” So don’t worry about the date, just be ready when he does appear. Ok?

Computers Needed For Jamaican Students:
We were able to supply the high school in Olympia Garden with forty globes. The staff assured us that these were desperately needed and would be very helpful to the students. We are supplying laptop computers to as many of the students as possible. Computers are very difficult to come by in Jamaica and when you do find one that can be purchased, the price is outrageous. We have been able to find a source that we can purchase these laptops for $165.00 each. If you would like to help donate one to a student, it would be much appreciated. We will then furnish you the name, photo, and a thank you note from the student that receives it.
My flight Tuesday from Jamaica was very exciting. We missed our approach at the Miami airport and had to abort the landing. We had to go back up and fly around a second time. Thank God this one was successful, even though it was rough. As I was leaving the plane, the pilot said to me, “Thank you for your prayers, we sure needed them today.” The weather in Atlanta was bad when we arrived here, but I thank God, in the 99 mission trips that I’ve made to Jamaica, all of them have been safe. It’s good to be back home again.
Press Release: Is the earthquake in Japan, a fulfillment of Bible prophecy? With all that is going on in the world today, Rev. Jim Whittington, of Atlanta, GA,
asks the question: Are we living in the last days according to what is written in the Bible? Matthew 24:6-8 says “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of
wars; see then that ye be not troubled; For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” Rev.Whittington goes on to say
that there are other scriptures, such as Mark 13:8, which seems to come into play here, it says, “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of
sorrows.” Luke 21:11 also says that in the last days, that there will be great earthquakes in different places. And that there will be great signs from Heaven. The
world has experienced several major earthquakes in recent times, in Haiti, New Zealand, Chili, and now in Japan, and many other places. The wars that are also
going on around the world and the unrest in many nations also comes into the description of these passages of scripture. Scientists are even puzzled by the
unusual activities that are going on in the earth. Not limited to earthquakes, tsunamis, severe weather patterns, but also to many other unusual occurrences.
Violence also fills the earth today, and this also is one of the prophecies about the pattern that would exist in the world in the last days. II Timothy the third
chapter declares all of this. Rev. Jim Whittington does not claim to prophesy but only references the current events to Biblical passages.

My mother has had two light heart attacks within the last two months. The doctor suggested a heart catheterization, even though she is 86 years old. We called all
the family together to pray. We called on friends, loved ones and minsters, to pray. Bishop Dennis McGuire, the former General Overseer of the Church of God,
Dr. T.L. Lowery, founder of the T. L. Lowery Global Ministries, and many others prayed for her. What I am trying to tell you is, someone, somewhere, got a
prayer through. The doctors had wanted to do the heart catheterization on Friday, but Mother wanted to wait until Monday, which they did. We kind of believe
that Mother was giving God a chance to work a miracle. Well, this is where the “heart creates its own bypass,” comes in. When the doctor went into the heart, he
found that the artery, on the right side of Mother’s heart, was totally blocked. Because it was totally blocked, there was nothing that he could do. If it had been
99% blocked, he would have had something to work with. Here is the good news about the miracle. The doctor discovered that Mother’s heart had created a new
blood flow around the blockage. You may have heard of this before, but I never have. It has all the makings of a miracle to me. Mother went home today, and the
doctor said when the heart creates its own bypass, the flow gets better as time goes by. Medication will be given to help, and thank God for the doctors. The
scripture I gave my mother before she went in for the catheterization, was the same scripture that I held onto in 2007. That’s when I had to have an Aortic valve
replaced with an artificial valve. The doctor even said that I “flat-lined” (died) twice, on the operating table. Psalms 118:17, is the verse of scripture we both held
onto, which says, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the lord.” To God be the glory!!! And for whatever it is worth department, I did see the light at
the end of the tunnel.

Rev. Jim Whittington has just returned from Jamaica, where the crusade revival still continues. On Friday night, over 500 young people came forward for salvation. On Sunday night, 39 were baptized in water. The latest press release states that this is the largest gathering ever held in Yallahs, Jamaica. Thousands of people attended night after night and we’re blessed, saved, healed, and delivered.
Plans are being made to send medical supplies, food, and equipment into the island of Jamaica. World Deliverance last week, donated the largest world map made, to the Penwood High School, where the geography and social studies teacher said that they didn’t have the necessary supplies and educational tools. The students were so excited about this gift. Ten years ago, when we first started helping Penwood High School in Kingston, Jamaica, the attendance rate was 38%, today the attendance rate is 98%. The whole community has been changed for the better as a result of the work we are doing there in collaboration with Bishop John Hardy and the Miracle Tabernacle New Testament Church of God.
